Competition in Childersburg

Last Saturday Hayden had another gymnastics competition, our gym, Balance, was the host.. This was only her second competition this season, next month we'll be heading back to TN for the third and final competition, and then comes District, State and Nationals... She moved up a level since her last competition so she had to learn a whole new routine.. She did really well.. She placed 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th which was really surprising because there were more then 100 girls there.. I now know how much work it is to own a gym, all of the parents had to volunteer to work at the meet and help move equipment from the gym to the rec center.. The Saturday of the meet Chase and I both worked from 8am to 9pm.. YUCK! I'm glad its over.. Here are some pics of miss prissy..

Fun at the bowling alley..

Last week a few of us and our kids went to the bowling alley for kind of a "mom and kids day out".. The kids had so much fun and I must say they were much better then the grown-ups (they had bumpers, little cheaters!) =)... Personally I was the worst one.. I think Lindsay ended up winning both times.. Cade had the best bowling moves Ive ever seen so I had to put a picture of him up, he was too funny! After bowling we went and ate Mexican and it was overall a really good day!!!

Santa came!!

The kids didn't get up too early on Christmas morning, they would have slept late if I wouldn't have woken them up.. I just couldn't wait any longer! I love to see the excitement in their faces.. Hayden got what she wanted and all Braxton cared about was his Power-Wheels four wheeler..

After Santa came

Hayden's Christmas from everyone-

Braxton's Christmas from everyone-

Christmas at Nana's!!

Christmas at Nana's is always the best!! The kids always get EXACTLY what they want and the food is always the BOMB! Thank goodness for a mother-in-law that can cook..!!! We had a really good time eating, drinking cider ( i tried to get her to spike it) and opening presents.. I got to take my mom and brother along this year which was so great to me.. Debra always goes the extra mile to make sure everyone is included and for that I am truly thankful.. I was blessed with a good mother-in-law and I know it! =) You have to look closely at the picture of Hayden opening her Icee maker and syrup, her face is priceless..

Santa Baby....

The Kindergartner's at Hayden's school went Christmas caroling and sand to the elderly the week before Christmas.. They all had to wear Santa hats so I snapped a couple of pictures before school that morning, they are to cute not to post... =)

Been awhile..

Okay, its been quite a while since I've posted so there's a good bit to catch everyone up on.. First of all for those of you who don't know, my brother is back home for good.. Hes been in the army for the past four years, did two tours of Iraq and when he wasn't over there he was stationed in Fort Carson, CO.. We are all so glad he is finally home safe and sound.. I thank God that he made it back to us in one piece.. Anyway, his girlfriend that lives in Colorado flew in the week before Christmas and we all got to meet her.. Her name is Lindsay Bryant, I thought that was pretty funny! Here is a picture of the two lovebirds...
