Where does the time go??

I cannot believe my baby is about to go to Kindergarten... Time truly slips away right before your eyes, and suddenly all you have are memories... I can still see that precious baby smiling up at me with two little white teeth in her mouth.. I know, I know, its only school, but for me its so much more.. What will I do without that sassy 5 yr old here all day to show me who's boss? Sure, im being a bit overdramatic and somewhat of a baby but I cant help it.. I guess thats how it goes though..

"bye bye"

Braxton has learned how to wave bye bye, he has been doing it for awhile but now hes gotten really good at it and you can actually tell what hes doing.. He has also discovered a new favorite "toy", the lawnmower, LOL.. I honestly have to ride him on it every single day.. So if you happen to drive by and see us zipping around the yard, no were not cutting the grass, just going for a ride! :) This is a video of him, on the lawnmower, waving bye bye.. Please ignore my crazy narrating...

Hayden's Gymnastics!

It seems we have a little gymnast on our hands.... Last week Hayden's teacher pulled me aside to talk to me about how well Hayden was doing.. She wanted to know if it was okay with me that she move Hayden up to a more difficult level.. She is now in a class of 8 and 9 yr olds.. I was nervous for her at first but she did perfect! I guess it just comes naturally to some.. I got a quick video of one of her latest tricks.. Its her favorite so far and it wowed her teachers that she taught it to herself just by watching the older girls.. I am so proud of her.. :)

Walking Tall....

I was able to get a short video of Braxton taking a few steps today.. Its a pretty bad video because its not my camera, but I just wanted to get one before the "first steps" days are over.. He's still a little wobbly but its amazing to me how quick hes learning.. :)

Zoo day!!

My cousins and I and all of our children, decided to take a trip to the Motgomery Zoo yesterday. None of us had ever been but had heard great things about it so we decided to try it out.. It was a bit of a drive but it was fun to do something different.. Braxton of course didn't really care about the animals, he loved the train ride though.. They don't have quite as many animals as the Bham zoo, but its a completely different layout, much more open land for the animals to roam.. I think Hayden really had a great time.. We did have a funny incident though, we had only been there about 10 mins and Hayden was so excited running towards the red fox that you see in the picture, well, when she put her brakes on, her flip flop kept going and went right into the water under the bridge... We had to find a tree limb and fish it out, I think it took me 10 mins to get it.. It was actually pretty funny! All in all we had a great day!

Nine month checkup

Braxton had his 9 month check up this week.. He weighed 22 1 1/2 lbs and is 29 inches long! He had to get two shots but he was fine, didnt phase him at all.. He really didnt like being held down.. He has more teeth coming in, molars to be exact.. He is so close to walking, its not even funny.. I am amazed at how fast it happens.. He was just taking his first steps the other day and now hes doing it constantly! :( Makes me sad.. I will get video soon, my camera decided five years was enough and it was tired.. It wont even come on anymore.. I dont think I'll ever find another camera that im comfortable with..

First Steps!!!

I have to give a quick update, Braxton just took his first two steps!! I have no pictures or video because it was sudden and unexpected! We were eating dinner and he just let go of his dump truck and took off.. They were perfect sweet little steps!! Man, they grow so fast! :)

Random Pictures!

Here are some more random pictures!!

Boat ride to Shell Island!!!

This was the highlight of the whole vacation for me! Being on a boat is always fun.. We had to be at the marina at 8am, which wasn't easy but we made it.. At about 830 we took off on our way to Shell Island, we stayed there about an hour and found some seashells, saw some crabs and lots of jellyfish.. We got back on the boat around 10 and spent the next few hours just driving around, we did stop once where the water was about shoulder deep and crystal clear, we all jumped in for a quick swim.. We chose the right place to do this because we ended up finding a lot of neat things, there were red and purple sea urchins all around our feet the whole time!!! I had never seen one up close and they are awesome!! Now we all want to do this every year again and again!

Splashing in the waves!!!

Hayden has never been too crazy about the ocean, she only got in two or three times this year so I couldn't get many pictures of her in the water but I was able to get these of her breaking it down! She got in and started busting her moves!!

Braxton was absolutely crazy about the ocean! I would sit him on the edge just where the water would barely touch his feet and he would take off towards it crawling 90 mph and laughing his head off!! It was too funny! He got a mouthful of saltwater once or twice but that didn't phase him for long!!

Teeth, teeth,everywhere!!!

Braxton has finally cut all five teeth, they are now completely through the skin and ready to do some chomping!! He is already starting to bite everything in sight, mostly Haydens toes, they are his favorite target!! I tried to get some good pictures of the sweet little additions...

Beach Trip 2008!!

Well, our vacation has come to an end! We got home Saturday around lunch from Panama City.. We got there on the 28th and stayed until the 5th.. It was a long vacation but I think it was more work then it was play.. Taking a baby to the beach is exhausting, especially when they are cutting teeth.. We did have some fun days though!!

The Drive Down!!

This is the kids on the drive down, we had been in the car for about an hour, as you can see they are still happy and excited!

Here are the kids two hours into the drive, NAPTIME!!!! :)In this picture we are about 30 mins away from PCB, they are fed up with being in the car!!

Playing in the sand!

This is Braxtons first time in the sand, he put in right in his eyes!!

Hayden enjoyed the sand this time around, in all the previous years she would only play for 20 mins and be tired of it but this year she played for hours on end!!
