school, gymnastics update..

Well, the everyday excitement for school has subsided.. Now she is more interested in how many sleeps there is until she gets to stay home.. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted..LOL.. She has had all smiley faces which I am so proud of.. Our mornings are at a much slower pace now, it takes her a good 30-45 mins just to eat her breakfast.... Our time together now is limited which I hate but we make the best of the moments we do have.. She is tired during the week, which causes her to be ill, but we get through our spats and go on with the next day..

SO much is going on with gymnastics.. We have Coosafest in September, uniforms to order, shirts to order and the first official meet is in October.. Thanks so much to Wes, Tonya, Shannon and Lindsay for buying T-shirt ads to support her gym! We couldn't ask for better family! She has quickly gone from preschool class to recreational class to Level one and now they are working on getting her up to Level 2... I am nervous for her.. But to her its all fun and games which is the way it should be.. :)

rain rain go away...

All of this rain the past few days has had Braxton in an uproar... This boy was born to be outside! By the third day of rain he was literally at the window like a puppy scratching to get out.. God blessed us with sunshine today and that baby had a field day on the front lawn.. I have GOT to get a video of him saying "outside", not only does he say it, but he forces it on me.. He will get my flip flops, bring them to me, one in each hand and say "OUTSIDE"! It's to precious!

Roll Tide Babies!!!

I don't know about y'all, but my little family has caught the football fever!! I CANNOT wait for the TIDE to kickoff on Saturday! Grandma bought Braxton a new Alabama hat yesterday and he wears it proudly! I went through some old pictures today and found one of Hayden sporting her Alabama dress when she was one.. I am so proud to have two little Bama fans! ROLL TIDE!

Adjusting to school life..

I think we all starting to get the hang of "school days".. Getting up early is for the birds, that is FOR SURE.. We have been late sleepers for quite a while now and 5:30 comes pretty early to me.. :P Days are busier now then they have ever been.. Hayden is still loving school (once she gets there) but in the mornings she gets a little sad when she has to leave me.. She informed the teacher and the class last week that "Her mommy has been to prison", lovely I know.. Guess I slept through that one.. LOL..

Braxton turned 11 months old last week, I cant believe it.. It goes by so fast.. I guess it will be time for a bday party soon.. He is off of formula, and were working on weening him off of the bottle.. He doesnt really care for one except at bedtime.. His new favorite thing is his shoes.. He hated them at first but for a few days now, all he wants to do is wear them..Silly, silly boy..

Chase surprised me with a new camera about a week and a half ago, so i have been SNAP HAPPY! :)

First day of school!!

Well, its over and done with and we made it through! She did so well this morning, she didn't cry a bit.. School let out at 12:45 today due to the weather, which was so crazy, I don't think we ever got out early on the first day! When she got home she was so excited, she said she loved it and it was GREAT! :) She couldn't remember what she had eaten for lunch, she told me she had "ham chopped up with bacon" then she told he daddy she had "mashed potatoes with carrots and bacon".. Lindsey said she actually had a hamburger and french fries.. They have lunch at the same time which is SO great.. At least she will have that little bit of comfort to look forward to every day. I got a few pictures before we left home and then we had a small wardrobe change due to toothpaste on her green shirt, then I got a few more walking to the car, then a few more while in the car, a few more walking through the grass to the room, and a couple in the classroom.. LOL.. I couldn't stop.. She is already so excited to go back tomorrow! Thank you to everyone for the prayers that got us through the day!! :)

Meet the teacher!

Well, we made it through "Meet the teacher", she wasn't too sure about it at first but she loosened up after a few minutes and played with a couple of the girls that will soon be her classmates.. We took a quick peek around the classroom and she climbed up into the reading loft, I think that was her favorite part! Braxton seemed to enjoy the colorful rug... She really isnt scared or nervous anymore, but it may be different come Thursday morning. I know she will be fine, she is in good hands, and always has Lindsey close by for comfort.. :)

Stick It!

Just a quick update for those of you who dont already know, Hayden got put on competitive team last Thursday.. She will be a Level 1 which is also called Pre-team.. She will now be participating in AAU competitions! The first competition as of right now is going to be October 25th in TN. We are both excited and nervous because were not really sure what were getting into.. I know it will take up alot of time and Im sure alot of money but in the end I know it will be SO worth it... :)
